I am a bit late this month with the newsletter as I have just returned from being a merchant at the Brisbane Quilt and Craft show.
I have written a blog post here with some tips about attending large shows like this. How to make the best use of your time and how to get the best bargains.
Now we are focusing on Festival of Quilts (6 – 8 Nov) and I have several new products I am releasing there, so make sure you see our stand. Margaret and Jennifer will be assisting again, what a team!
I am also giving a talk, about circles, and I am bringing my pot lids!
And remember the new venue is by the netball courts, in St Johns, at the back of the Panmure shops. Just by the new Stonefields subdivision. Officially called the AMI Netball Stadium.
Enjoy your quilting, and I look forward to seeing you. Carol
This set is so useful for scraps, and easy to use. Buy now.
I have re-packaged the botanicals into a set and have included this new floral quilt pattern. This is turning out to be a very useful set and very popular. I made this quilt up on one of those cold winter days we had this year.
Did you know we do all sizes of squares, from 2 1/2″ to 15 1/2″? This is one of our most popular sizes as it’s used for Charm squares. Great value.
“Asking a quilter to mend, is like asking Picasso to paint your garage.”
This was in the Manukau Guild newsletter, I just loved it, I have to share it.
Our September newsletter list prize of a $30 voucher for our products went to Wendy. Congratulations! Forward this newsletter to a friend, so they can join and be in to win too.
