It was lovely meeting everyone at the recent Auckland Festival of Quilts, the new venue really showed the exhibition quilts at their best. See below for some links to some really good write-ups about it.
I like these shows, and attending your quilting group meetings, because I get such good feedback from everyone, as well as putting faces to names (but remembering them is getting harder each year, so please forgive me for that).
As a result of the feedback and requests from the show, I am busy working on a new “quick and easy to do” hexagon set. I will have this ready for my December newsletter, it will keep you busy over the holidays.
I have also just released my new Tea for Two set, you will be able to make some fantastic quilts and runners with this.
Enjoy your quilting, and don’t stress during the build up to Christmas, just take pleasure in the anticipation. Carol
Online Special: Dragonflies, normally $19, now $10 for a short time
I have made these up in felt, have even embroidered some of them and given them buttons for eyes. And I use my dragonfly pin cushions a lot. 3 Sizes, check them out here.
I had so much fun making up this set, I had to stop at 19 pieces! There are at least 4 patterns included. The quilt shown here uses all the different pieces, note the different teapot lids and spouts. I just can’t wait to see your new teapot creations. See more pictures and patterns here.
Our November newsletter list prize of a $30 voucher for our products went to Jennie. Congratulations! Forward this newsletter to a friend, so they can join and be in to win too.
