Here is Kristin’s table runner using our Gingerbread man. Isn’t it lovely!
Maureen’s Tuis, a Community Creation made with the Tui Bird Kiwiana Template.
What kiwi garden isn’t completed by a tui?
Tui are unique to New Zealand, they feed mainly on nectar from flowers of native plants such as kōwhai, puriri, rewarewa, kahikatea, pohutukawa, rātā and flax. Occasionally they will eat insects too.
I love Maureen’s Tuis sitting in a Kowhai tree.
Our new 3″ Kiwi can be used for so many creations. We originally made it to go on our new postcards, then we found they work nicely on bags, table mats and more.
You can also put different coloured kiwis on different blocks to make up a lovely childrens quilts.
